On 10 June 2016, the third A.I.S.O.T. National Congress  took place at the Aquae Meeting Center Campus in Pavia.

A.I.S.O.T. is an Italian National Association for Orthopaedic and Trauma Residents.

Under the scientific programme of the day, Prof. Portinaro took the floor during a session called: The Congenital and Degenerative pathology of The Hip: different surgical approaches.
He spoke in particular about pelvic and femoral osteotomies talking about his experience and research activity.
